Amy Maynard is a lifelong resident of Huntington, West Virginia, and a proud graduate of Marshall University. This year marks her 31st year with Cabell County Schools, where she serves as the principal of Meadows Elementary School.

In addition to her work as principal, Amy is an Adjunct Professor in the Special Education Department at Marshall University and serves as a mentor principal for the West Virginia Schools Leadership Network. A passionate advocate for education and her community, she is also a proud supporter of Marshall Athletics and takes great pride in her son, Nikolas Maynard, who works as a marketing assistant for the program.
